Tottenham confirm coaches Kevin Bond and Joe Jordan have left the club

• Coaches have followed Harry Redknapp in leaving Spurs
• New manager will appoint his own coaching team

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed they have parted company with their assistant coaches Kevin Bond and Joe Jordan.

Bond and Jordan were an integral part of the former manager Harry Redknapp's backroom staff and oversaw the running of team affairs while he was recovering from heart surgery in November.

The duo were also prominent during Redknapp's court case in January and February when the 65-year-old was found not guilty of two counts of cheating the public revenue.

The move clears the path for André Villas-Boas to install his own coaching team. The former Chelsea manager is expected to be officially unveiled next week.

The former Blackburn and Tottenham midfielder Tim Sherwood is the only member of Redknapp's team to escape the cull.

"Kevin and Joe joined after Harry's appointment in 2008," said a club statement. "We should like to thank them for their contribution and achievements during their time at the club and wish them all the best for the future." Read More
