Thiago Silva leaves AC Milan for Paris Saint-Germain

• Brazil defender signs five-year deal with French side
• PSG also in talks to sign striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic

The Brazil defender Thiago Silva has signed a five-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain.

Silva appeared to be on the verge of a big-money transfer to PSG last month, but the move looked to have been shelved when he signed a new five-year contract with Milan.

The 27-year-old has been at the San Siro since 2009 and helped them to win the Serie A in 2011.

PSG have been in talks with Milan over the transfer of Silva and striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic this week, for a reported total fee of £51m. Read More
